In the tradition we have started a few years back, the „Ion Dacian“ Opera Theatre is also performing for its audience in the summer.
       On Friday, July 10th, 2009, at 8 p.m., at the Cotroceni National Museum, we have opened the summer program of the Operetta, with a concert of faimous arias and duets, from works composed by Franz Lehar, Paul Abraham, Rudolf Sieczynski, Emmerich Kalman, Ralph Benatzky, Frederich Loewe, Robert Stolz.
       The well known arias have been performed by the singers of the Operetta: Florin Budnaru, Gabriela Daha, Cătălin Petrescu, Ştefan Popov, Doina Scripcaru, Valentino Tiron, Silvia Şohterus, Daniela Vlădescu, Tina Munteanu.
       They have been joined by the orchestra of the Operetta, conducted by Lucian Vlădescu. The show was directed by Răzvan Ioan Dincă.
