The Cotroceni National Museum has organized on Tuesday, March 30th 2010, at 6 pm, the traditional Easter concert.
Continuing the tradition of Easter concerts in the refined atmosphere of the Cerchez Reception Room of the museum, the concert this year included classical religious pieces (Ave Maria, Panis Angelicus), famous opera pieces by Giacomo Puccini, Giuseppe Verdi, Francesco Cilea, and also modern compositions (George Grigoriu), interpreted by the soprano Tina Munteanu and the tenor Teodor Ilincăi.
Tina Munteanu graduated from the Music Academy of Bucharest and has continued her education in the Masters program and through different Masterclasses held by the tenor Constantin Zaharia and the soprano Mariana Nicolesco. She has been awarded with numerous distinctions at home and abroad. She is a soloist of the Opera Theatre in Bucharest and a permanent collaborator of the Opera House in Bucharest.
Teodor Ilincăi has graduated from the same Music Academy of Bucharest, with a special focus of Byzantine Music. In 2006 his becomes a soloist for the Opera House of Bucharest and is offered a scholarship to Vienna. In January 2009 he makes his international debut on the stage of Hamburg Opera House, and followed with his first concerts in the Vienna Opera House and Covent Garden in London.
