On October 28th 2010, 6 pm, in the Cerchez Room of the Cotroceni National Museum, the pianist Lucian Veliciu held a special concert, interpreting works by Frédéric Chopin, Ludwig van Beethoven and Franz Liszt. Alumni of the Music Academy of Bucharest, professor Vlad Dimulescu class, Lucian Veliciu has studied between 1998 and 2001 at the College Pro in Bucharest, and since 1999 has been a professor at the Music Highschool Dinu Lipatti. He has had concerts in the George Enescu Festival, at the Romanian Athanaeum, the George Enescu National Museum, the Arts Museum Constanta, the Mogosoaia Palace, but also at the Black Sea Philarmonics in Constanta. He has also played in Luxembourg and the Mihail Jora Studio of the National Radio Society. Lucian Velciu has been awarded the Second prize for intepretation in the Carl Filtsch International Piano Concert in Sibiu and the First Prize and the Great Prize award in the Pro Piano concet, Bucharest, in 2001..
