Ion Bodgan Ştefănescu
He has been charming the audience of the National Philarmonics in Bucharest with his magical flute Muramatsu, from 1997 onwards. He is a renouned international artist, with concerts in Germany, France, Louxemburg, Austria and North Korea. He is the only musician to have received the medal from the Writers' Union (2007), is the holder of the Cultural Merit medal awarded by the President (2004) etc.
Costin Soare
He is both a teacher and interpreter of the classical guitar in Romania. His repertoire includes music from the Rennaissance and the Baroc, to modern and contemporary music, South American music etc. We should mention the recital dedicated to the Cuban conposer Leo Brouwer in London, the recital In Memoriam Toru Takemitsu, in the Romanian Athenaeum, in the International Festival of Classical Guitar in 2005 and 2006. He collaborated with instrumentists and quartets, and the one who initialiazed the Guitar Evenings at the Şuţu Palace. He has graduated the Masters of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, in Glasgow and a scholarship in Japan. He is a teacher of music at the „Dinu Lipatti“ Music Highschool in Bucharest.
