She began to study canto from an early age, she took part in the Goden Stag festival at 18 years old, she sang in the opening of Joan Baez's concert in Bucharest, she won the prize in the Mamaia Festival and recorded her first album, in English, Only Love. She has been acknowledged as the best feminine voice in Romania, the best artist in a video in the MTV Gala and The Woman of the Year 2002, by the magazine Avataje. She went on extensive tours in Great Britain, France, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Canada, Norway and the former Yugoslavia.
