- European Heritage Days. 11 am - 6 pm: „Turn of the century in Cotroceni“ fair in the garden of the palace, organised in collaboration with the „Hospitality in Romania“ Association, The „Ion C. Rogojanu“ Archive and Library, The National Technics Museum „Prof. eng. Dimitrie Leonida“, The National Filately Museum, ARCUB - Bucharest City Hall, Elite Art Club UNESCO, The Old Vehicles Club. The exhibition recounts the ambiance of Bucharest and the Cotroceni Palace at the turn of the century, up to the break of the First World War (1900 - 1914). Visitors can admire old cars (Olds Patent - 1888, Ford - 1912), velocyped 1900, old cameras, images of the Cotroceni Palace, the princely and the royal family, monuments and buildings of Bucharest, replicas of stamps with monuments and buildings in Bucharest. The flavour will be completed by postcards with the Royal Family, travel books and albums, old books, old cook books, menus, musical scores, decorative objects, paintings, engravings, small furniture objects, crafts, traditional costumes and old garments. 3 pm - 4 pm: Theatre „D’ale lui Nenea Iancu“, by the As theatrical group (students of the Theatre School). 7 pm : „Bonsoir Mon Cher“ - theatrical show with Silviu Biriş and guests. Opera recital by Theodor Ilincăi - tenor, Tina Munteanu - soprana, Mihaela Vîlcea - piano. |

Tina Munteanu The young soprana graduated from the Music National University of Bucharest, and attented master classes with the tenor Constantin Zaharia and the soprana Mariana Nicolesco. She has won numerous national contests of lieds, she is the holder of the Special Prize of the Jury in the Canto International Contest „Hariclea Darclée“, she has won first prize at the National Contest of Interpretation Paul Constantinescu and the special prize of the George Enescu Society in the US. She is currently a soloist of the Operetta National Theatre Ion Dacian and a permanent collaborator of the Romanian Opera House. Mihaela Vîlcea She is a well known name for the Romanian audience. She has specialized in piano both at the „George Enescu“ Highschool and the Music Academy. Her skill in mastering difficult and complex opera and classical pieces has given her the possibility of attenting numerousconcerts and tours in Romania and abroad. We should mention her long collaboration with the National Theatre in Bucharest, Act Theatre in Bucharest and the Opera House in Bucharest. Teodor Ilincăi He has discovered his talent and interest for classical music rather late, after studying Byzantine Music in University. He has joined the masterclasses of Leontina Ciobanu Vaduva and Viorica Cortez, and Eduard Tumagian. He collaborated with the Vaudevilla Theatre „Constantin Tanase“ and the Romanian National TV. He wins a scholarship to the Musictheatre in Vienna, that is renewed annually. His international debute in January 2009 in Hamburg in Macbeth was a real success and continued with a collaboration with the Vienna Opera in Nabucco by Verdi and the Hanovra Opera in La Boheme by Puccini. He is to collaboarate with Convent Garden in London and The Hamburg Opera House in 2010. |
