Balkanic Art Inspirations
The Cotroceni National Museum, Melenia Art Gallery and Alpha Bank Romania is organizing Thursday, November 19th 2009, the opening of the Balkanic Art Inspirations art exhibition.
By this participation the artists from Romania. Greece, Serbia, Albania and Bulgaria will share similar cultural visions and identities.
The Interbalkanic Exhibition is an adequate environment to exchange opinions, inspirations, but also to set new tendencies in contemporary art. Moreover, the works express the realities of the Balkans and speak about the identities of these places by presenting common roots and also diversities of the region.
Artists: Maia Oprea, Laurenţiu Midvichi and Simona Antoniu from Romania, Harris Kondosphyris and Nansy Fotopoulou from Greece, Shefket Advush Emini from Albania, Jovana Komnenic from Serbia and Snejana Simeonova from Bulgaria.
