The Cotroceni National Museum and the Arts University in Bucharest have organized, starting from the 5th of November, 2008 a project entitled the Engraving Class. The workshop gathered works of students from the Graphics Department of the Arts University in Bucharest, univ. lect PhD Anca Boeriu class and univ. lect. PhD Florin Stoiciu class.
The project initited by the Cotroceni National Museum and the Arts University in Bucharest is meant to bring the engraving back in the limelight of contemporary art and to draw attention on the lack of events dedicated to the technique.
