The National Cotroceni Museum, have opened, on Thursday, March 12th 2009, at 6 pm, in the spaces of the former Cotroceni monastery, the exhibition „Urban Myths“. This is the final stage of a workshop started in 2007, aiming to give a new portrait of the city, through literary and art works. The exhibition includes graphic designs, manuscripts, books and photography by Florin Stoiciu, Cristian Ţârdel, Călin Chivu, Tudor Jebeleanu, Ştefana Mărmureanu, Anca Boeriu, and the writers Mihail Gălăţanu, Ioan Es. Pop, Lucian Vasilescu, Daniel Bănulescu. |

The event was followed by a mime and poetry show, provided by the artists of Pass Partout DP Company: Silviu Oltean, Raluca Urea, Antoanela Vladescu, Vadim Rusu.

Starting from 7 pm, our guests attended a debate focusing on the state of plastic arts and poetry today, joining the literary critics Daniel Cristea Enache, Mircea Mihăieş, Marin Mincu, Alex Ştefănescu and the art critics Marian Constantin, Aurelia Mocanu, Pavel Şuşară.
