The National Exhibition of Decorative Art, the 10th edition
       Wednesday, October 28th 2009, at 6 pm, the Cotroceni National Museum opened, in the Medieval Cellars, the 10th edition of the Decorative Art National Exhibition, one of the long traditions of the museum ever since its opening.
       It reunited 91 artists in decorative art: tapistry, textile prints, decorative art in porcelain, glass and metal.
       The artists participating in this event come from all over the country Bucharest, Cluj, Iasi, Oradea, Buzău, Deva, Târgu Mureş, Râmnicu Vâlcea, Timişoara, Braşov, Baia Mare  and this cultural event aims at promoting contemporary Romanian art and the creative potential of artists in Romania.
       Most of the artists are well known to the public: Traian Ştefan Boicescu, Lucian Butucariu, Cela Neamţu, Ioan Nemţoi, Karoly-Zold Gyongyi, Gheorghe Gogescu, Nicolae Zimbroianu, Zoe Vida-Porumb, Alexandru Ghilduş etc.
      However, we are pleased to have exhibited works by the younger generation of artists such as Petru Radu Buba, Liliana Marilena Crăciun, Irina Raluca Ionescu, Valentina Stoica.
