550 years since the first mention of the city of Bucharest (20th of September, 1459) and 350 years since Bucharest became the capital of Wallachia (1659) and the European Heritage Days (19th of September 2009) - this year entitled „Access to historical monuments“ - the Cotroceni National Museum organized, between the 12th and the 20th of September a series of events entitled „The Lore of Old Bucharest ... music, theatre, pictures, garments...“.
The public was invited in the garden of the Cotroceni Palace to enjoy concerts, open air exhibitions, theatre, costumes.
