     THE COTROCENI NATIONAL MUSEUM
1, Geniului Blvd, 060116, Bucharest (access through the Cotroceni blvd Gate, facing the Botanical Garden).

     Visiting Hours:
► Tuesday-Sunday - 9.30 a.m.- 5.30 p.m. (the last access at 4.30 pm; for temporary exhibitions, the last access - 5 pm).
► Visits of the Cotroceni National Museum are permitted in groups of max. 15 people, with a prior booking at 021. 317. 31. 07 (from Monday to Friday between 9.30 am - 4. 30 pm) or by email at vizitare@aim.com (at least one day prior to your visit, Monday- Thursday 9.30 am - 4 pm, Friday 9.30 am- 1 pm) and without booking, depending on availability.
► For groups of min. 50 people, with a foreign language tour, or 80 people, Romanian tour, the museum is also open on Mondays, with prior booking at 317.31.07 or by e-mail at vizitare@aim.com.

     Entrance Fees:
► Romanian/Foreign visitors: 12 lei/pers.
► English, French, German, Italian tour: 15 lei/pers.
► Foreign students, with a foreign language tour - 21 lei/pers
► Students (1st to 4th grade) - 3 lei/pers.
► Free of charge: children, war veterans, people with disabilities, Revolution heroes, I.C.O.M., I.C.O.M.O.S., A.S.E.R., A.E.O.M. members, UAP members, library and museum personnel, members of the Romanian Art Collectors’ Society.
►Temporary exhibitions: 3-10 lei/pers (depending on the exhibition).
►The museum’s shop offers the visitors art objects (icons, ceramics, glass, textile), guides, brochures, postcards, albums. History, art and Music interactive presentations.

     Photography and video recording:
► Photography and video recording are allowed for private purposes only. No flash and/or tripods can be used - 40 lei
► Amateur filming - 150 lei

 

     Space Hiring:
The halls of the museum are available for hiring, suited for cultural meetings, symposiums, congresses, product launching, concerts, media presentations etc.

1 - The Great Reception Room: 300 places, piano, sound equipment, projection screen, audio-video recording available. Next to this room stands a cocktail suited room, the Hall of Honour, (aprx. 150 people) and suited only for a Swedish buffet.

2 - The Cantacuzino Cellar: ideal for 50-100 pople, has similar facilities, excepting the piano; it makes an interesting location for cultural gatherings and corporate events.

3 - The Refectory, the Kitchen, situated on the ground floor, with similar facilities, excepting the piano, suited for 30-50 people. Price 200 euros/hour (in lei).

     Visiting regulations:
► an original identity document is compulsory.
► coats and bags must be left at the wardrobe.
► using protecting slippers is compulsory.
► food and drink are forbidden inside the museum.
► keeping close to the group is compulsory.
► visitors are kindly asked to keep their tickets for checking.
