Visits to the Cotroceni National Museum are only available with a guided tour in Romanian, English, French, German, Italian or Russian languages

Museum: Thursday - Sunday
                9.30 - 5.30 pm
(4.30 - access of the last group)

Exhibitions: Thursday - Sunday
                    9.30 - 5.00 pm


The museum can be visited also on Mondays, with a prior booking, in case of:
               - groups of minimum 30 people, with a foreign language tour
               - groups of minimum 50 people, with a Romanian tour

The Cotroceni Church: Thursday - Sunday
                                      9.30 - 5.30 pm

Free of charge
The church of the former Cotroceni monastery is to be visited at the end of the guided tour
For guests that want to visit the Church exclusively, groups of 10 people will be organized at the entrance


Closed: 1, 2 January 1st, 2nd, 1st and 2nd Day of Pentecost, 1st and 2 day of Easter, 25, 26 December

The ticket office and the shop close 30 minutes prior to the end of visiting hours

Foreign pupils and students: 21 lei / pers
Free of charge: - children under 7
                        - war veterans
                        - people with disabilities
                        - I.C.O.M., I.C.O.M.O.S., A.S.E.R., A.E.O.M. members
                        - museum and library specialists
Temporary exhibitions: 3 - 10 lei / pers (depending on the exhibition)

        Photography and filming:

Pictures amateurs - 40 lei
Filming amateurs - 150 lei

Professional photography and filming in the Cotroceni National Museum can be done with a prior written address to the director, at e-mail secretariat@muzeulcotroceni.ro or fax: 021.312.16.18, at least one week before


        Regulations:

In the Cotroceni National Museum
       - It is mandatory  - to present a valid ID (identity card, passport)
                                - to leave bags and coats in the wardrobe
                                - to use protective slippers
       - It is forbidden:  - access with food and drinks
                                - leaving the group during the tour
       - Visitors are kindly asked to keep their ticket while in the museum
